What is Online Counseling
Online counseling is mental health therapy conducted through the medium on the internet. It utilizes mainly three different resources, video conferencing, e-mail, or asynchronous messaging through a HIPAA compliant platform and facilitated by a licensed professional. A few names refer to counseling through cyberspace. You will find online counseling identified as e-counseling, telemental health, telebehavioral health, and long-distance counseling.
